Elders

We are led by two spiritual shepherds, John Barr and Rick Liggin. These men were chosen by the congregation to lead based on their age, life experience and the qualifications given in Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-11). Together, they guide us based on the wisdom and knowledge of God's word that comes through a life of service to Him. Their aim is to lead as examples of humility, while they watch out for the souls entrusted to them (1 Peter 5:2-3), as those who must give account. (Hebrews 13:17)

Evangelist

Our evangelist, Rick Liggin, has worked with us since 2005 to help provide relevant and insightful sermons as part of our spiritual diet. Rick continuously presents Bible-based lessons each week in the auditorium, in classrooms and in private studies that instruct and lead our members and our community in the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2, 5).

Deacons

We are blessed to have three deacons, Wes Green, Dale Higdon and Sean Randleman, who look after various church tasks that have been assigned by our elders. The elders have followed the example set forth in Acts 6:1-7, assigning men approved of by the congregation to oversee various work within the church. By serving in this way, these men free our elders and evangelist to focus more on spiritual needs. All of our deacons have been qualified according to the procedures set forth in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
